Stir-Fried Noodles with Beef
- Sliced round beef or flank steak
- Bean sprouts
- Shallot (opt).
- Baby spinach
- Thai fish sauce
- Soy sauce
- Brown sugar
- Black pepper
- Peanut oil
Soak an appropriate amount of thin Chinese rice noodles in hot water for about 15 minutes.
Heat peanut oil in a large pan. Saute garlic, then add shallots, then onions, then sliced beef. When beef is browned, spinkle on brown sugar, Thai fish sauce, and soy sauce. Grate on some black pepper. Add in some softened noodles. Stir together and put aside in a bowl.
Add more peanut oil to the pan. Stir fry the bean sprouts, the spinach, and then handfuls of noodles. Add Thai fish sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, and pepper.
Add the first batch to the second, mix together, and serve.
